MOTOKO WAKANA

Motoko Wakana
  1962 Born in Tokyo, Japan
1985 Graduated from Saitama University
1993 Graduated from Takasaki College of Art
1993-96 Trained and worked at Utatsuyama Craft Workshop in Kanazawa
1996-99 Worked at Oshigahara Workshop
1999 Came to England
1993-99 Entered Japan Craft Competition and Asahi Craft Competition etc. Exhibited at Matsuya in Tokyo and at Green Arts Gallery in Kanazawa etc.

"My work combines white clay with dark clay, as I'm fascinated by the contrast between the two."
